Sliding Door Hardware - Guides to Quantities

Shown below are the most common applications for sliding doors with charts o determine the correct hardware that is required. The number of brackets has been calculated on the standard 1000mm centres.

Should the doors be abnormally heavy for their size, subject to heavy usage or high wind loading, then increase the number of brackets by reducing the centres to 500mm. A suitable bottom guide system must always be installed.
